Coming from a RAZR, I didn’t know the Galaxy S had GPS problems.  Glad to see the GSII changes that!  

Yes, I am obsessed with getting this phone.  No, I’m not under anyone’s payroll to post these… it’s just so frickin’ cool!

Galaxy S II hits Korea with NFC payment system ready to go | Android Community

Special notes:

  • NFC payments are handled through an app
  • The app is installed by Samsung at the factory (cannot be downloaded)
  • Google is behind NFC for the U.S. (the article leads us to believe this means ‘payments’ as well)
  • Credit Card companies are supporting NFC plans.

A few years ago, i had some discussions with co-workers that were more widget-development centric, but the same outcome was realized: the more we can put the power of programming into the hands of line-of-business people, the quicker the big corps will have to scramble.

Perhaps an update: the Founder + Early Employees + Performers are merging together faster than anticpated…
