Coming from a RAZR, I didn’t know the Galaxy S had GPS problems. Glad to see the GSII changes that!
Yes, I am obsessed with getting this phone. No, I’m not under anyone’s payroll to post these… it’s just so frickin’ cool!

The app is installed by Samsung at the factory (cannot be downloaded)
Google is behind NFC for the U.S. (the article leads us to believe this means ‘payments’ as well)
Credit Card companies are supporting NFC plans.
Tech Specs:

A podcast with Elijah Manor and Dave Ward explaining why it’s important to learn JavaScript if you use it at all (hint: study Douglass Crockford).
Stuff discussed (quickly paraphrased):
How to go from beginner to apprentice to journeyman

Back in Nov, super tech-evangelist Bob Waldron shared a news story on Google Refine with us. Today, my pal Mark introduced me to an open source product called Data Science Toolkit.
Seems it was successfully used to scrape data from 220 million Facebook user profiles. After he had this massive amount of data, he spent $100 for 10 hours of Amazon services to crunch it down to a usable database...

Oh yeah! My baby is getting closer!
So, in all honesty, I probably won’t get this phone anytime soon - the priorities of paying off debts and gathering enough cash to grab space for the Distributed Hacker/Maker Network are just too high - but I am having a huge emotional affair with this phone. I admit it :)
So I’m still near and dear to my current Razr v3.
